Atheism is the Up and Coming Religion

November 12, 2013

AtheistGlobalConventionI don’t know how many of you know about the latest atheist movement sweeping the world. This movement seems to really be taking off. What it entails is atheists creating their own “churches” and not your run of the mill local mini-churches but instead large churches. These churches are even being called Mega-churches.

The atheist are gathering together to sing, fellowship, hear a sermon and practice their non-religion. Doesn’t this sound like religion to you? After all what is religion but “the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices”. In their attempt to fight against religion they have created their own religion based on their disbelief in God. Don’t be fooled by their rhetoric they have a faith system just like Christians, Buddhist and other “religions”.

They just base their faith system on the intelligence of man. The problem with that is that man’s intelligence is limited to the prevailing knowledge of the day. Not that long ago man believed the earth was flat and the sun revolved around the earth. Man’s intelligence is always growing and learning something new because he’s knowledge is based on what he can see, taste, hear, feel and calculate. The atheist believe in the “Theory” of evolution, Yes I said theory. It is a theory because with man’s limited knowledge it is just as hard to prove as creationism. Since the scientific community has accepted the evolutionary theory as their own the atheist have also. The scientific community will never even consider the existence of God therefore creationism will never be considered by them and the atheists place all their faith in the scientific community.

The atheists have faith in mankind to be the master of his own destiny. They have faith in the best AtheistBelieveInYouscientific minds and worship what they have to say regarding everything. Their faith system is based on man being the dominate intelligence and the “god” of  his own world. You would think a belief system like that would have no need for pomp and circumstance. Wouldn’t you?

Most atheists will go out of their way to attack and insult people of religion, but now they seem to be laying that aside in their attempt to create their own congregations. Isn’t it strange how they are now willing to stop their bashing of religion while they create their own “religion”? Why is it that they now feel the need to copy people of religion? All across the globe they have been creating their own religious organizations of non-religion. They are having their own Sunday meetings, their own sing-ins, their own “love fests” and their own fellowship meetings.

They hate religious people and their religious ceremonies, so why do they have meetings to mimic the very people they ridicule? If you talk to them and listen to what they say, you will realize that they feel they are missing something. They are also jealous of what people of real religion have. What they don’t realize is that it is not the actual ceremony they are missing. What they are really missing is that loving connection and that only comes from knowing and loving one’s creator. They will of course deny it, but if they were truly honest they would realize that the ceremony is just for show it doesn’t really fulfill the need they are feeling deep inside.

They will benefit from the fellowship of like-minded worshipers. But they could get that a lot of ways other than copying other religions. Instead they are going to “worship” the same ways as honest religious people worship. They are doing exactly the same things that they ridicule others for. They are having their own worship service even though they will deny that it is a worship service. They are getting benefits from their worship service which is similar to the benefits of an honest religious service.

AtheistBornAgainI see this entire attempt by atheist to mimic religious services as nothing more than hypocrisy. Everyone, even atheists believe in a faith system, whether the object of their faith is God or man, it is still a faith system and thus a religion. Atheists are fooling themselves if they think religions are only for the ignorant and stupid. Everyone has a religion whether they will admit it or not. It’s just that some are more comfortable and honest in their religions, while others are in denial.

Their worship services may take off and may actually be successful in the physical sense but it will never fulfill the inner need that they are feeling. Their inner need is a spiritual need which can only be fulfilled with the love of God. They can continue worshiping their false god or rather continue their idol worship of man or they can face the fact that they have a yearning for something they can’t see, feel, hear or understand.
